InkDay (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what

data the InkDay app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Summary

InkDay is designed to work offline. It does not require an account and does

not upload your drawings or calendar data to our servers.

2. Data We Access and Store

InkDay stores and uses the following data on your device:

- Calendar data (if you grant calendar permission): The app reads and may

write events in your device’s calendar provider so you can view and manage

your schedule.

- Drawings and annotations: Your pen strokes and drawings are stored locally

on your device in JSON files (for example: /sdcard/Documents/

BooxCalendarMemo/drawings/day_YYYY_MM_DD.json).

- App preferences: The app stores settings like your selected pen, color, and

width locally on your device.

InkDay does not collect or store this data on any remote server.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. InkDay does not include

advertising or third‑party analytics SDKs in the current build.

If your device syncs calendar data with a third‑party service (e.g., Google

Calendar), that sync is handled by your device and those providers under their

own policies.

4. Permissions

InkDay may request the following permissions to function:

- Calendar access (read/write): To display and update events.

- File access/storage: To save drawings to local storage.

You can revoke permissions at any time in device settings, but some features

may stop working.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All drawings and settings remain on your device until you delete them. You

can delete drawings within the app or by removing the files from storage.

6. Security

We store data locally on your device. The security of your data depends on

your device’s security settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

InkDay is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect

personal information from children.
